On the surface, 4K Blu-ray seems like an uncomplicated format, but that's not the case. What you might not be aware is the fact that there are two totally different discs that 4K Blu-ray movies get printed on. A lot of it boils down to the size of the movie, but the two different formats you see are 66 GB dual-layer discs and 100 GB triple-layer discs. Both disc sizes can fit movies, and I would wager that most people don't notice the difference between the two.
