The book-style foldable phone market is in a state of flux. After several years of tall-and-narrow handsets ruling the roost, a new wave of wider-bodied devices is beginning to take shape. Samsung's recently-released Galaxy Z Fold 8 has hit the ground running, and Apple is widely expected to launch its own foldable of a wide persuasion come September.
