For the longest time, Spotify's desktop app has had a feature called Friend Activity that lets you see what your friends have been listening to. For some reason, though, that feature never fully made it to Spotify's mobile app. The company experimented with a similar feature on mobile back in 2022, but it never fully launched. Fast-forward to 2026, and it looks like Spotify has had a change of heart.
