HMD Global has confirmed its presence at Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona next month, with a launch event due on the Sunday before the show doors open.
It will host a briefing on 24 February, starting at 4pm CET (3pm GMT). It is likely to be livestreamed, if a cryptic tweet by HMD Global's chief product officer is anything to go by: "We really... would like you to tune into our Barcelona MWC showdown," posted Juho Sarvikas.

would like you to tune into our Barcelona MWC showdown on the 24th of Feb
The event will be hosted offsite in Barcelona and, while there is no official indication as to what HMD Global might announce, it is strongly expected that the company will finally unveil the much-talked about Nokia 9 PureView.
The phone with a groundbreaking penta-lens camera on the rear has been on the brink of release for more than six months - or so the internet rumour mill has had us believe.
Maybe now we'll see it, however. Or maybe it's just another false dawn.
Either way, Pocket-lint will be at MWC 2019 in force to find out.
